Even the most enslaved people know deep within themselves that they have a right to be free. They know there is a more primal law than whatever force is keeping them from liberty. The practice of Christian Science healing is about exercising our right to live under God’s law of good and love. There’s more to Christ Jesus’ teachings than just hopeful and religious sounding words. They speak to the power and grace that come from understanding more of the actuality of God as divine Love. That understanding brought freedom and healing to those who were touched by Jesus’ healing ministry two thousand years ago, and people are discovering that this understanding of God’s law brings healing today also.
